Summary:Breast cancer is one of cancer with highest incidence, especially in women. Chemotherapy as the one treatment can be given to cancer sufferers. Chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) is the common side effect of chemotherapy that almost happen and can disrupt the quality of life. Acute nausea and vomit happen 0-24 hours after having chemotherapy. Delayed nausea and vomit happen after 24-120 hours after having chemotherapy. The aim of this study is to know effect of patient adherence and delayed nausea and vomit that experienced by patients in Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya. This is an observational study by collecting data prospectively. The objects were given checklist questionnaire to document delayed nausea and vomiting that happen and the adherence of patient in consuming antiemetic according to prescription. The result shows that adhere patient consuming medicine in three cycles has percentages, those are 64,5 %, 70,0 %, and 53,3 % respectively. The results shows that the incidence of vomiting is the highest percentage incidence in patients who were adherent to take the drug in the first cycle (40,0%), the second cycle (61,9%) and the third cycle (50,0%).s
