Hyperuricaemia is often associated with CKD because the main excretion of uric acid is through the kidneys. Hyperuricaemia may be risk factors that accelerate the progression of CKD Objective: This research aims to study the prevalence of hyperuricemia in non-dialysis CKD in order to improve services for patients. Method: This was a retrospective study by assessing patients’ medical record and analyzed descriptively. Result: Of 73 samples, the majority of CKD patients are male (54,8%) and most are found in 35-60 years old age group. Non-dialysis CKD patients are mostly in stage G4 (32,9%). Hyperuricaemia is found in 68,49% non-dialysis CKD patients with 7,64 mg/dL as the mean highest uric acid level in stage G2. Mean uric acid levels inter-stage are fluctuating. Of all patients with hyperuricaemia, 88% have a history of Allopurinol treatment and 72% also have hypertension. Conclusion: With the lack of information, it still needs further studies with more time and samples, so the results could be more representative. 2017 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text id http://repository.unair.ac.id/66252/1/FK%20PD%2067-17%20Kri%20p%20Abstrak.pdf text id http://repository.unair.ac.id/66252/2/FK%20PD%2067-17%20Kri%20p%20Sec.pdf Aldira Rasthy Krisdania, NIM011311133218 (2017) PREVALENSI HIPERURISEMIA PADA PENDERITA PENYAKIT GINJAL KRONIK STADIUM 1-5 NON DIALISIS DI POLIKLINIK GINJAL-HIPERTENSI RSUD Dr. SOETOMO SURABAYA PERIODE SEPTEMBER - NOVEMBER 2016.
