This study aimed to determine the profile of acute urticaria patients in 2014 at Ambulatory Unit Dermatology of Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya. METHOD: This study was a descriptive study. This study used secondary data. The data collected, cleaned, edited, and tabulated. RESULT: The number of patients with acute urticaria in 2014 at URJ Dermatology of Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya were as many as 87 people, but only 66 (75.9%) medical records of patients who met the inclusion criteria of this study were included. Acute urticaria was more prevalent in females (75.76%) than in males (24.24%). The largest group of age was 17-25 years old with 21 people (30.9%) in the group. Most patients (30.9%) worked in private sector worker. Patients who experienced acute urticaria with drugs as the trigger factors were 8 cases (12.12%), while food was the trigger factor 30 cases (45.45%). Patients who experienced acute urticaria due to physical trauma was 24 (36.36%). Infection as the trigger factor of acute urticaria was experienced by 17 patient (25.76%). CONCLUSION: The largest group of age was 17-25 years old, gender was female, and occupation was private sector worker.
