Summary: | Introduction: Diagnosis is important in providing therapy to the patients. Some
patients need to be referred to other health services to get maximum therapy. The
accuracy of the referral diagnosis to diagnosis at the health services greatly
determines the rate of treatment of the patient. Missed diagnosis is still found in
referral diagnosis. Researches conducted observations on the accuracy of diagnosis of
pediatric surgery cases pre hospital (referral system) to Emergency Installation RSUD
Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.
Methods: This is a descriptive retrospective research by taking medical record data
on all pediatric surgery patients using referral system to Emergency Installation
RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya on July to December 2016.
Result: The results showed that pediatric surgery patients with referral system were
mostly 0 – 1 years old (96,7%) with female and male ratio was the same (50%). Based
on the origin of city, patients from Surabaya ware the most (30%). The most health
services referrer were from hospital type C (63,3%). The most clinical diagnosis was
malformation anorectal (MAR) without fistula (36,7%). The accuracy of diagnosis
was right diagnosis (96,7%). The ratio of dead and life patients were the same (50%).
Conclusion: The accuracy of diagnosis of pediatric surgery cases pre hospital was
right diagnosis. |
