In a recent study there were chemical bonding bonds. Objective: To analyze the di fference in chemical bond strength between HEMA-based ethanol-based and HEMA acetone-doped resin with dentin collagen. Methods: There are 3 groups in this study. The first group of HEMA and collagen was mixed with KBr, the group as a control. The second group of HEMA, collagen, ethanol mixed KBr. The third group of HEMA, collagen, acetone mixed KBr. The three groups were then pelleted and analyzed by FTIRS, to calculate the peak value of the carbonyl uptake band from each study group. Data were analyzed using Kruskall Wallis and Tukey HSD test (p <0.05). Result: peak value of carbonyl uptake group I: 71.36, group II: 46.76, group III: 27.2. The smaller the punk value of the carbonyl uptake bands, the greater the bonding strength of the chemical.
