Espelage 2009). In Jagir, the bullying phenomena existed among street children. They tended to mock, speak loud, and give bad labeling for their friends. In linguistic point of view, it could be considered as rudeness behavior. Using Rudeness theory by Manfred Kientpointner (1997) and Bullying theory proposed by Dorothy Espelage (2009), this study focused on analyzing the varieties of rudeness. By conducting a qualitative research, a group of Angklung Class consisted of 5 students who were in the same age, were selected as the object of the study to support the theory of linguistic rudeness. The results of this study found 8 utterances of Cooperative Rudeness among street children in Jagir, which included Mock Impoliteness, Ritual Insult, Ironic Rudeness, and Reactive Rudeness and 7 utterances of Non-Cooperative Non-Cooperative Rudeness consisted of strategic rudeness in public institutions, and competitive rudeness in private conversations. 2018-04-04 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en http://repository.unair.ac.id/71596/1/abstrak.pdf text en http://repository.unair.ac.id/71596/2/full%20text.pdf WACHIDATUL QOMARIAH, 121311233062 (2018) COOPERATIVE AND NON-COOPERATIVE RUDENESS USED BY ANGKLUNG CLASS STREET CHILDREN.
