Summary: | The aim of this study was to evaluate fertilization rate of Merino sheep frozen semen that processed by using two kind of diluter egg yolk tris (P1) and egg yolk tris (P2). Merino sheep semen was taken by using artificial vagina than divided by two treatments. One part was diluted with egg yolk tris and the other with egg yolk skim. Fertilization rate was evaluated by In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) methode. Data was analized by using t-test. The result showed that there was no significance difference between two treatments (P>0,05). This study conclude that either egg yolk tris or egg yolk skim can be used as a diluter for frozen semen processing of Merino sheep. Both of them can produce almost equal fertilization rate |
