Summary:Background: Inadequate delivery of MP-ASI, in this case too early (less than 4 months) or late (after 7 months) may result in adverse events such as diarrhea, dehydration, decreased milk production, allergies, iron deficiency, and growth disorders. Sufficient mother’s knowledge about the practical of giving MP-ASI has a positive effect on the baby. This research is to analyze the relationship between mother’s knowledge level with attitude and practice of giving complementary food to infants aged 6-11 months in Puskesmas Krembangan Selatan Surabaya. Methods: This study design was cross sectional analytic taken by accidental sampling. Data was collected by interview used questionnaire. The correlation of mother’s knowledge with attitude and practice on complementary feeding determined through Spearman test. The sample are 64 mothers who have infants aged 6-11 months and attended Posyandu Results: The results obtained mother’s knowledge-attitude of giving complementary food with p value < 0,05 (0,002) and mother’s knowledge-practice of giving complementary food with p value < 0,05 (0,000) Conclusion: Mother’s knowledge have significant relationship with mother’s attitude and practice of giving complementary food during infants aged 6-11 months in Puskesmas Krembangan Selatan Surabaya.
