Summary:Introduction: Indonesia is a country with the potential for an earthquake. In an effort to reduce the disaster risk index, efforts should be made to increase the capacity index of the community that can be implemented with measurable activities, one of which is knowledge about disasters. Objective: This Study aimed do determine factors that related with level of student knowledge about earthquake disaster management in Mulyorejo Distric, Surabaya, Indonesia. Material and method: This Research Study used cross sectional analytic design. The number of subjects is 147 responders with education levels varying from grades 7 to 9 in Lukman al-hakim Middle School in Surabaya. Respondents will be given a questionnaire to measure the extent to which their knowledge of the earthquake disaster is then related to any related factors. Statistika analysis was done with Chi Square Test. P value of <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Result: There was no significant correlation between education level, experience of earthquake disaster, and eartquake disaster training with knowledge abaout earthquake disaster. Conclusion: There was no correlation between education level, experience of earthquake disaster, and eartquake disaster training with knowledge abaout earthquake disaster. Research needs to be carried out in a wider area with more accurate methods so that research can provide better results.
