Summary: | This research was aimed to determine the effect of sugarcane top (Saccharum officinarum L) to increase both the production and the Total Solid of milk from the Friesian Holstein crossbreed dairy cattle in KUD TANI WILIS Sendang district, Tulungagung residence. This research was used 18 lactation dairy cows which divided into three treatment groups with six replications,
treatment 1 (P0) 40 kg King grass + concentrate, treatment 2 (P1) 40 kg sugarcane top + concentrate, treatmen 3 (P2) 20 kg King grass + 20 kg sugarcane top +
concentrate. The concentrate was given in dry form as much as 1% of body weight in each treatment group. Sampling and examination of the sample was done in the morning and evening milkings. Data were collected and analyzed using Anova method and then continued with Duncan using SPSS statistical device. The result showed that sugarcane top has no significant effect on the
production of milk from the Friesian Holstein crossbreed dairy cattle (p> 0.05) and sugarcane top significantly influenced the totapl solid of milk from the Friesian Holstein crossbreed dairy cattle (p<0.05) in KUD TANI WILIS Sendang district, Tulungagung residence. |
