Summary:This was a descriptive research and case study that aimed to describe a phenomena (health) determine the factors that influence non-compliance with visits to health facilities, and explore how patients getting their drugs if they were not compliant to visiting health facilities. Data were obtained after intervewing three hypertensive patients participating in the BPJS at the pharmacy puposuvely selected all data were transcribed at verbatim, then analysed using thematic analysis. The research showed that there were two themes related to non-compliance, namely disease factors which include the type and symptoms of the disease experienced by the patient.. Another factor is social culture related to the use of herbal medicines. But in general the respondents know well that hypertension treatment must be done routinely and for life.
