Summary:Endophytic microbes that live in plant tissues without endangering their hosts. Endophytets produce some substances that have biological activity. Aspergillus salwaensi DTO297C1 is one of the endophytic fungi isoted from ethyl acetate extract isolated from Chromolaena odorata was known to have antimicrobial and antifungal activity against S.aureus, B.subtilis, E.coli and Candida albicans fungi. The 3 fraction of the extract is known to have antibacterial activity. The objective of this study was to purify and identification metabolite from 3 fraction. Purification using column chromatography with silica gel 60 for column chromatography and n-hexane : etil acetate : methanol 5% gradient eluent. was then carried out and 31 subfractions were obtained. The analysis was continued with GC-FID and GCMS. 16 sub-fractions were analyzed, there were 21 compounds that could be identified based on the dominant peak, fragmentation pattern and suitability of compound fragmentation with the literature.
