Summary:Background: Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a terminology used to describe inflammation occur in nose and paranasal sinuses for at least 12 weeks with no clinical resolution. CRS diagnoses is often based on clinical symptoms patient complaint, in which the patient’s background profile may affect the degree of severity of symptom. With variety of symptoms, the age and gender characteristics of CRS remain unclear. Objective: This research aim to compare the characteristics on symptoms of patient with different age and gender after MMT treatment using SNOT-22 criteria.Methods: The study is a retrospective study with cross-sectional study design. The data is collected from patients’ medical record and analyzed descriptively. Results: This research shows that there are more male (54.1%) pre-operative CRS patient than female (45.9%), with more patient comes from productive age (83%) and the severity scale outcome after MMT treatment on 5 domains of SNOT-22 shows that 41-54.1% of symptoms are a very mild. Conclusion: Most CRS patient in this study are male, on productive age, with severity scale outcome after MMT treatment on very mild degree
