This research aim to determine the relationship between the value of heat detector (Draminski®, Dramiński S.A, Poland) with level progesterone serum in Etawa Crossbreed does. Eighteen Etawa Crossbreed does, pariety I, non-pregnant, healthy, and 20-25 kg body weight were divided into two groups of intramuscular and intravulva synchronization. Injected with PGF2ɑ on the day 0 and day 11. After the second injection, the heat detector value and blood sampling were examined and the sign of estrous was observed. The value of the heat detector was recorded and the blood sample was processed into serum to be examined for progesterone levels by ELISA. All data collected was analyzed using the simple correlation method on SPSS type 23 for windows. The results of the analysis obtained from SPSS is a positive relationship between the value of the heat detector with progesterone levels. Correlation value of 0.609 and significant value (2-tailed) of 0.004 <0.05 (Positive). That means the low value of heat detector indicates the Etawa Crossbreed does has estrous and progesterone levels also decrease but does not reach the basal level.
