Summary: | The aim of the research to investigate the effect of leaserpuncture on macroscopic and microscopic of broiler chicken secal infected by Eimeria tenella. The laserpunctere dose used was 0.5 J on each accu point and the infected doses was 5000 oocyst. This research used thirty-five DOC (Day Old Chicken) randomly selected into 5 groups. First group was control (P0) without any treatment. Second group was E. tenella infection only (P1). Third group was laserpuncture only (P2). Fourth group was laserpuncture followed by E. tenella infection (P3). Fifth group was E. tenella infection (P4) followed by laserpuncture. The macroscopic sample were scored and the histopatologic sample were scored. The data were analyzed with Kruskal Wallis test and be continued with Mann Whitney test. Both of the data showed significant difference of groups P0 and P2 between P1, P3 and P4. The groups of P3 and P4 showed lower damaged score than P1. This showed statistically that the treatment of laserpuncture with dose of 0.5 J wasn’t effective to reduce the cecal damaged by E. tenella |
