The aim of the research is to know the potency of anting-anting (Acalypha indica L.) leaf extract as an acaricide to larvae and adult Boophilus microplus in vitro by observing the mortality rate. The method used in this research was a completely randomized design. There were five treatments used in this research which are Tween 80 1% and aquadest (K-), Neguvon (K+), Anting-anting (Acalypha indica L.) leaf extract concentration of 3.125% (P1), 6.25% (P2), and 12.5% (P3). Each treatment used five replication and each replication used six Boophilus microplus larvae and five adults Boophilus microplus. The observation was carried out for five hours for Boophilus microplus larvae and 24 hours for adult Boophilus microplus. Boophilus microplus adult and larvae declared dead if there was no movement. The data was analyzed by using ANOVA factorial and continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test. In the extract with concentration of 12.5% showed that there was no significant differences with Neguvon (p>0.05) in Boophilus microplus larvae, but in adult Boophilus microplus showed that there was a significant differences with Neguvon (p<0.05). From the statistical analysis, we can conclude that anting-anting (Acalypha indica L.) leaf extract has potency as an acaricide of Boophilus microplusin vitro. The higher concentration of anting-anting leaf extract, the higher acaricide activity worked.
