This type of the research is survey with cross sectional study research design. This research was conducted in August 2019. Detection of AI subtype H5N1 is examined by Hemagglutination Inhibition test. Total of 30 samples were taken from Ponggok Sub-district in Blitar. The serum is separated from the blood clot and transferred into the microtube. The sample must be inactivated in waterbath at 56oC for 30 minute to inactivate non specific reaction of serum. Antigen AI subtype H5N1 clade 2.3.2 1.2 from PUSVETMA is used as antigen in HI test. HI titers is considered positive if the titer is more than 24. Analysis is presented in the form of descriptive data by calculating the percentage of AI antibody in sparrows.
