| Summary: | The development of tourism industry generally marked with the growth of
infestation in tourism sector and number of the business itself. The study aimed to
investigate the kind of job, income, cooperation, participation, conflict, and openness
of the local society. The study location was Wale, Baubau City. The method used
quantitative and qualitative Mixed Methods. Sample used was respondent that
involved and not involved in tourism with the number of 60 Family used
Proportionate stratified Random Sampling. The technique for data collection for the
quantitative analysis used questioner and for qualitative analysis used observation and
in-depth interview.
The result showed that: 1) the development of tourism in Kamali Beach gave a
direct impact to the social environment of sub-district Wale, which are: (a) give job
opportunities to the society, (b) give additional income to the society |
