Summary:Heat distribution is reflected by the temperature distribution in the body. The form of heat kernel which is determined by Gauss-Weierstrass is is applied to obtain the heat equation. The heat kernel is cosntructed via the Fourier transform at the solution. Heat kernel is not only depended on intial and boundary values, but also on the coordinate systems. The solution is written in term of Bessel functions as well as Legendre functions. Eigenfunctions and eigenvalues are induced by the several conditions. Intial value, boundary conditions, and convolution are applied to determine the heat solution. The solution is applied to the case of hot spot or heat column.
