It is important to keep in mind that contemporary international relations scholars have to encounter the global challenges of contemporary issue. In one hand, the development of study of international issues in Indonesia is still limited, while on the other hand, the development of international studies on the global scheme is vastly evolved. These challenges demand the international relations scholars to become more innovative, progressive and proactive. Therefore Institute of International Studies is motivated and ready to respond those challenges. Our focus of stud-ies covers international relations issues or phenomena which are linked to international organization, international law, foreign policy, diplomacy and other issues as well. The Institute also seeks to encourage an in-depth study using contemporary international relations approaches.
