Description
Summary:This research aims to determine considerable factors in livestock location determination in a rubber plantation. This research also aims to provide recommendations to the company on potential location suggestion for livestock in the plantation. The company has three location alternatives which are all potential to be cultivated. Therefore, in determining the most viable among the others, critical success factors are required as basis in determining the decision. Those factors are adjusted to the condition and requirements of the company in respect with the planned outcome which is the livestock with the current situation which is the plantation. This research applies descriptive qualitative method. Data are obtained through interviews and field observation which are then processed through rating method. Research results have come to five critical success factors, adjusted with provided condition. The five factors are geography (land), food availability, HR and environment availability, supporting facilities (including fund), and also transportation. Each factor are rated appropriately and calculated through rating method on the three alternative locations available, thus it is found that location C has the most potentially viable spot to be cultivated as livestock in the rubber plantation.
