Summary:Indonesia is the second biggest corn producers in Asia after China. Corn is the second most important food crops in Indonesia after rice. This industry has huge potential because: The Consumption of corn keeps increasing while the local production still not sufficient, corn is the biggest contributors in feed industry, in which currently livestock is growing rapidly, with the increasing of world oil price, biofuel become an alternative option. This research will discuss how X Company, one of the Seed Supplying Companies, strategizes to gain the market share. Currently, it is only being the fourth in the market share occupying 10% of market share. The main question of this research is What are the appropriate strategies to compete in hybrid corn seed industry that aligned with X Company�s vision and mission. Furthermore, this study will help the decision makers of this company in identify and evaluate its external and internal factors that important to gain an expected result. The result of this research is alternative strategies from TOWS Matrix that evaluated from the company�s external and internal factors using EFAS and IFAS.
