Ph.D, ETD Web-based GIS (Geographical Information System) application in this study is used to present information about the mapping of flood prone zoning for critical infrastructure in Semarang, therefore information about the flood area concerning to flooding�s level vulnerability and indicators will yield spatial and non spatial data that can be obtained by users. Spatial information is represented in graphic form, while its attribute information is represented in table form. Web-based GIS used appropriate technology that is called as SVG (Schalable Vector Graphic), php, html, and javascript as system builders also MySQL database for data storage. On the other hand, data processing from the secondary data collection until the establishment of flood mapping applied methods of improving GIS from ESRI. WebGIS applications for mapping flood-prone zoning of critical infrastructure with a case study of Semarang can be implemented by having the form of thematic maps and attributive data tables and page user interface. The main and supporting functional facilities, in which the spatial and non spatial data also support each other and are related because both types of data are integrated so that the applications can be informative and interactive for users.
