Summary: | The study aims to test and analyze the influence of transformational
leadership, transactional leadership and learning orientation on employee
creativity and test the role of creative self efficacy as a mediator in the influence
of transformational leadership, transactional leadership and learning orientation
on employee creativity. The subjects of the study are 170 employees that worked
as supervisor in hotel industry in special province of Yogyakarta.
The study shows that transformational leadership gave positive influence
on the employee creativity and creative self efficacy partially mediated the
influence of transformational leadership on employee creativity. However,
hypothesis testing showed that transactional leadership do not give significant
influence on employee creativity and learning orientation give a negative and
significant influence on employee creativity. Moreover, the result shows that
creative self efficacy mediates the influence of transactional leadership and
learning orientation on employee creativity is not confirmed. The hypothesis
tested by Structural Equation Modelling using LISREL program. |
