operation for over 50 years is the air gateway to the most important tourist triangle Joglosemar (Yogyakarta-Solo-Semarang) with a service area that covers an area of Yogyakarta, Central Java and west area of east java. as an Enclave Civil�s airport, Adi Sutjipto International airport operated for civil aviation and military aviation training (Indonesian Air Force) (Military Base Training) so that the existing traffic in the airspace Yogyakarta mix between commercial aircraft and training aircraft bydifferent aircraft type categorry. By knowing the value of the airport runway capacity the appropriate steps to increase the air side and land side can be implemented.
The study was conducted to analyze the value of runway capacity based on
existing traffic condition beside categorized the capacity in order in capacity or was over. Method using by FAA (American Federal Aviation Administration) and
DORATASK has been used to analyze runway capacity of Adi Sutjipto airport.
Parameters used by FAA are runway configuration, mix index, the percentage of arrivals, and the percentage of touch & go while DORATASK using the aircraft mix, the time average of runway occupancy time and separation provided by the air traffic control officer.
The most significant finding in this research are using FAA�s method the
result or runway capacity value are runway 09 (VFR/IFR) is 41/37 aircraft
movements, runway 27 (VFR/IFR) is 37/34 aircraft movements while using
DORATASK is 15 aircraft movements. Compared with the movement of commercial aircraft and military school training aircraft average 1 hour was found that by using the FAA 13% over capacity and 87% are still in capacity whereas using DORATASK 73% over capacity and 27% were in capacity. Based on the analysis, the average time of runway occupancy time for take-off or landing, and field observations, the DORATASK method more appropriate to be used in Adi Sutjipto airports with the result value that the capacity of the airport runway Adi Sutjipto already over. |
