The analysis was conducted through the study of literature from a variety of journals, books, research reports and other sources. By processing these data, the author then map the position of Indonesia between developing countries and developed countries. Indonesia as the largest emitter in the world from deforestation and degradation seen support for REDD+ could be one way to repair its image in international community. Indonesia can also obtain funding from abroad to improve forest governance. Furthermore, by incorporating the mechanism of REDD+ Carbon Market, Indonesia likely to receive a large sum of money. But REDD+ forest itself doesn�t guarantee improvement. It can be seen from tough negotiation REDD+ that have not completed in UNFCCC.
