Summary:Background: In the treatment of TB patients required minimum of six months during influenced by the knowledge and consciousness and motivation patients can be channeled through TB counseling. The success of counseling is influenced by several factors, including aspects of the counselor, place and operational service, the quality of counseling that contribute to the perception of the client. Objective: To evaluate aspects of the counselor, the counseling services and operations, and quality of counseling the client perception (TB patients). Methods: The study was a qualitative research case study design. The study population was a counselor TB and TB patients. Subjects were 3 people TB counselors and 16 clients/patients TB. Results: Counselor TB have a positive attitude and motivation are influenced by the feeling of job counseling, feeling valued patients, other staff feeling valued, appreciated and feeling from manager. TB counselor workload as seen from the time available for counseling actually sufficient but not be optimal because TB counseling referral comes in about the same time. Counselors also have other duties which sometimes affect the implementation schedule of counseling. TB counselors have not received counseling training. Privacy counseling room by most respondents to be sufficient. Privacy counseling room by most respondents to be sufficient. Most of the TB patients still have problems leading to the counseling room. Leisure counseling room is now comfortable. Quality TB counseling based on skills assessment results and observations indicate that the material counselor competence is sufficient. Most clients are satisfied and consider counseling of TB is important for improving the understanding of TB disease. Conclusion: Counselor TB generally have a positive attitude and motivation but not get adequate training counseling, privacy space counseling not fulfill principle confidentiality and there is still difficulty in space access to counseling, the quality of TB counseling based on the assessment of observation shows that matter counselor skills and competence counselor is enough, Perception clients knowledge about diseases TB counseling after conducted generally increases, and clients have perception that good about TB counseling services.
