Warfarin is one of anticoagulant which used by ischemic stroke with atrial fibrillation inpatients. Recently, using anticoagulant as the prevention therapy still be research.The result which expect at this patients can be known from increasing INR (International Normalized Ratio) and reach therapy target. This research is cross sectional study. The data were taken prospectively from patient�s medical record in stroke unit and inpatients ward of Dahlia 2. Subjects were patients with ischemic stroke and atrial fibrillation and the research object included INR (International Normalized Ratio) for inpatients using warfarin and addition information from the family of patients and medical staff. The data were analyzed descriptively and correlatively. The analysis of data using by drawing of graphs about correlation INR with duration of therapy for inpatients, warfarin dose, comorbidity of patients, the other therapy which using patients in hospital and reached or not reached from INR target of every patients. Besides, multiple regression linear statistical analysis was conducted to find the difference between the warfarin dose and duration of warfarin to INR target 1.5- 2.0 (International Normalized Ratio). The result of study showed the significant association (P<0.05) of dose and duration of warfarin on INR (International Normalized Ratio) target 1.5-2.0 of ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation.
