Summary:PT. Mulia Pasific Resources at Kolonodale Village which replace the concession holder company PT. Wahana Sari Sakti as the first exploits causing many kind of conflict that involve community, forest management company, local government, and the mining company it self. The aims of this research are to identified social and culture society, knowing the conflict dynamics that happen between traditional society, mining company, local government, and forest management, also to formulate a strategy of conflict resolution. Research method that used is case study with quality approaching. Data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentary studies. Sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approaching through reduction, display, interpretation, and verification. Research's result shows that conflict is happened because there is no communication, problem of hiring employee that still full of nepotism, land and plant compensation which damage because of mining activities, natural disasters (floods), map of forest status that unclear, and with the socio-economic conditions also the different tribes so highly recommended to solving the mining conflict in Kolonodale Village is problem solving. This strategy is trying to finding a middle way or win-win solution. Which in the implementation the problem solving includes the following range of activities: each party should speak freely and openly, share information about the importance and priority of each, identify the issues that divide them, find alternatives to bridge the interests of each, collectively evaluate these alternatives from the point of view of mutual benefit.
