Summary: | Effectiveness of agricultural extension services of extension
institutions it can be measured by analyzing the level of satisfaction of the
farmers in obtaining the services of a field services extension workers based
on the duty of extension institutions. The research was conducted in
Tempuran District Magelang Regency which aimed to determine the level of
satisfaction of farmers to services of field extension workers and to identify
the attributes of quality service of field extension services provided to farmers
in the area of Agriculture and Forestry Extension Center (BPPK) Tempuran
District Magelang Regency.
Type of the research is quantitative descriptive analytical approach by
using the Servqual method and followed IPA (Importance Performance
Anaysis) approach and test of proportion followed CSI (Customer Service
Index) method. Sampling of farmer groups and farmers were randomly
selected with simple random sampling method. The total samples of farmers
groups were 12 groups and total samples of farmers were 97 persons.
The results of the research showed that the majority of service
attributes on Tangible and Assurance dimensions included in the category of
low priority unless attributes Emphaty dimension included in the category of
achievement maintained. Most small service attributes on dimensions of
Reliability belongs to the category top priority unless attributes on the
Responsiveness dimension attributes not in the top priority category.
Attributes field extension services to farmer that should be given in the top
priority are provision of agricultural facilities, provision of agricultural
infrastructure, facilitating all farming activities and solution for solving the
problem of farmers. The level of satisfaction of farmers to services of field
extension workers in BPPK Tempuran District Magelang Regency can be
categorized in a high level. |
