This research aims to analyze Client Risk Profile and to understand better about the investment alternative between Jakarta Capital Index investments and Gold investments which one that suitable for different Client Risk Profile. Based on the analysis result of the products, each investment products will be adjusted to suitable Client Risk Profile so that the final results will be recommendations for the Wealth Managers to give their Clients recommendation in choosing the suitable investment products according to their Risk Profile. The methodology in this research is literature study because this research is a type of qualitative research and the data is also obtained from the website of related government agencies or from one of the finance portal. The researcher has not found similar studies in the past, so there is no benchmark for this research. In this research, the researcher assesses the risk of each investment based on Risk-Return tradeoff and its Sharpe ratio. The results of this assessment system are grouped into three risk profiles that are High, Medium and Low. The result of this research concludes that the Jakarta Capital Index investments are categorized as High Risk investments suitable for High Risk Client Profile, while the Gold investments are categorized as Low risk Investment suitable for Low Risk Client Profile. Hopefully the result of this research can help Wealth Managers to recommend their clients in choosing the suitable investments products based on the Client Risk Profiles.
