Summary:Industrial competition and customer expectation become higher day by day. It holds up industries to increase their productivity, especially their effort. Their effort can be called good or not depending on their effort to create an efficient, responsive and rapid process in entire organization. Like other companies, PT Atak Otomotif Indometal tries to increase their effort. Nevertheless, there are problems in order fulfillment and much idleness, thus motivating PT Atak Otomotif Indometal to minimize their non-value added activity. To mend this problem, the author offers the lean concept that focus on value stream in the entire organization especially in production system. This research uses big picture mapping for mapping whole stream of production system. After that, score average of each waste is measured with waste workshop. Then the relevant detailed mapping by using value stream analysis tools was chosen. Tools chosen are PAM and SCRM. By identifying waste, cause of waste, and the effect, the suggestion to mend this problem is by using process batch and transfer batch method and method improvement.
