This study is to analyze the average amounts of revenues, savings, infaq and sadaqah before and after the empowerment program in the research area using a quantitative descriptive analysis and T-test. The research focuses on the recepients of cash waqf in the sub-district of Patuk Gunungkidul in 2012. The result showed that by empowering the poor Muslim communities in Patuk Gunungkidul, the Cash Waqf imposed by the Council of Ulama Yogyakarta is able to increase the average amount of revenues to 25.69 percent, 93.4 percent in savings and 5 percent in infaq. The T-test shows that the program can significantly increase the average amounts of income and savings. An increase in turnover, loan procedures, direct benefits, and knowledge skills, the empowerment program through equity loan is quite effective. However, it needs to be improved further in order to achieve maximum impacts or sustainability in the future
