ETD Double E Inductor with an air gaps is an approach model air gap of electrical machine such as electrical motor.Modeling is made of inductor with core form double E,approach has the technical specifications of the electric machine with a voltage of 220 volts and a current of 1 ampere.Air gap in electric motors is needed so that the rotor can rotate and generate power output.E Inductors were made of two pieces for modeling air gap in electric motor with two cores static state,while the electric motor was made of one core dynamic. Study characteristics discussed the double E inductor air gaps include the study of the characteristics of the electric and magnetic characteristics of the study.Study of electric is the measurement of electrical voltage, current, cos phi, and watts, measurements were made on both sides of the E side inductor connected sources (primary side) and the E side inductor connected load a rheostat (resistor slides) (secondary side).Magnetic study is a measurement of the magnetic flux meeting (B) in Tesla and magnetic field strength (H) in A / m, using a tesla meter is placed in the middle or the air gap between the two E inductors. Electrical parameter measurement results in the form of voltage, current, cos phi, and watts.Parameters was analyzed according to the chart it can be seen that the characteristics power transfer of the E inductor connected source,with E inductors are connected to the load.Results of measurement of magnetic parameters are magnetic flux meetings and magnetic field strength.Parameters obtained are used to create the graph characteristics so as to know the relationship between the distance of the air gap,magnetic flux meetings and magnetic field strength.
