Ida Tjahajati, MP. ETD Tuberculosis is a zoonotic disease that need seriously attention in Indonesia. Tuberculosis is caused by Mycobacterium bovis that often found in cattles, but is also susceptible to infect other domestic animals including sheeps. Bovine tuberculosis is characterized by the formation of granulomas (tubercles) in several organs, especially the lung, liver and kidney. The objection from this study is to determine the blood and histopathological changes of lung, liver, kidney of sheep that infected by M.bovis. Two sheep that screening positive tuberculosis, which performed Polimerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for isolation and identification M.bovis. Furthemore, sheep blood are drawn to analyze the changes in the blood profile for 10 weeks. The last four weeks, serum was taken for liver and kidney function tests four times. Necropsy was conducted on the eleventh week to determine the organ histopathology of lung, liver, and kidneys by Hematoxilin eosin staining on those organs. And for identification of bacteria, was done by Ziehl-Nellsen staining. The blood tests on two sheep showed increase results in the leucocyte, neutrophil, lymphocytes, monocytes, and decrease in the red blood cell count, ALT, AST, BUN, and creatinine. Whereas, on lungs had edema, necrosis, infiltration of lymphocytes and macrophages, alveoli emphysema. Liver showed necrosis hepatocyte and infiltration of lymphocytes and macrophages in trigonum kiernan. Kidneys showed hemorrhaghic and necrosis, proteins in the lumen of renal tubular, and atrophy in the renal tubular. From the ZE staining, was known that the bacteria are rod-shape and red colour.
