Dogs are animals that nowadays is a man's best friend with a variety of roles and functions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of treatment using hexane fraction ointment binahong leaf extract concentration of 10% in the process of wound healing in the skin of the dog incision. In this study, using four local female dogs, which are all given the same treatment, 1 week after the dogs were allowed to adapt and ivermectin anthelmintic. Treatment in the form of a incision wound making with lege artist as 2 slices on each dog on the right abdominal along the 6 cm as vertical direction. Three incision wound on each side were coded A and B in sequence from anterior to posterior. This research used the right side only, a incision with code A as a control (untreated) and code B treated with ointment fraction hexane extract of binahong leaf 10%. Observations wound healing done visually with parameters of wound healing such as swollen wound, redness wound, the wetness and the linkage on both sides of the wound. From the results of the study showed that not much different between incision wound group A (control) with incision wound in group B (treated ointment leaf fraction hexane extract binahong 10%). Primary wound healing was reached on day 6. The conclusion of this study is that treatment with leaf extract ointment binahong hexane fraction concentration of 10% based on physical observation is speed up the healing of wounds and is a prime healing.
