| Summary: | Background: The technology is advancing with the times also influence the
development of the hospital information system technology. Implementation of
the all manual in previous years was replaced by implementation of computerbased.
This is because the information needs must be obtained quickly,
precisely, and accurately. The process of manual changes to electronics require
appropriate measures for the implementation of changes can take place properly.
Objective: The general objective of this study was to determine the steps
changes daily inpatient census manual to electronic. The specific objective of this
research is to investigate the preparation of related technology changes daily
census of inpatient electronic and manual to find out the steps conducted in the
process of changing daily inpatient census manual to electronics.
Methods: Descriptive qualitative approach and cross design sectional. Research
subject is Chief Pharmacist and Medical Records Data and information program
officer. Objects in this study were measures and preparations were made in the
process of technological change inpatient daily census manual to electronic.
Techniques to determine validity of the data used is triangulation of sources and
techniques.
Results: The hardware available on the ward include computers, monitors and
printer. While in the Installation Medical Records available computers, monitors,
printers, and scanners. Used computers have Dual Core processors and
E5500@2.80GHz 2.01GB RAM. The operating system used is microsoft
windows xp professional. Software applications used is the Hospital Information
System. Technicians who make the census program Daily electronic
hospitalization amounted to two people who come from the data and information
technology program. Step-by-step process of change First Installation Medical
Records held a meeting to discuss the changes inpatient daily census manual to
electronic, then Head Installation Record Proposed changes to the medical
director orally, after approved, the program director assigned to any part of the
data and information technology to make its program. Program makers then
asked what Installing the required data from the medical record, after the officers
did analysis for completeness technology and its legal basis. Then officer to
design a program that will be made based on the results of planning and analysis
has been obtained. Currently the program makers are under implementation, the
program-makers were making tables will is used. |
