Summary:Technological developments in the field of measuring instruments in the present experiencing rapid development. One form of development is the digital water pass. This system works automatically eject output degrees and displayed on the LCD screen. In this process required a system that is efficient, that is based on the theory of Pythagoras. In this study the problem trying to be solved by reading the data from the x-axis, y-axis and z-axis, then convert it to output degrees using Pythagorean theory. Making this system using MBED NXP LPC1768 microcontroller, MMA 7361 accelerometer and Keil compiler with consideration uVision4 as this system can be further developed. Results from this study is a slope detection system are realized in the form of digital water pass. Results of the system and then the screen will be displayed on the LCD
