Nutrition of children should be monitored because nutrition is to be a prerequisite in academic performance of children, such as consumption of energy food and habits of breakfast. Several studies have reported that children who do not eat breakfast have lower concentrations than children which often eat in the morning. Children who eat rich of energy showed an increase in creativity, physical endurance, and value as compared to children who consume low energy. Objective : To know the difference of academic performance some subjects based on energy intake and breakfast frequency of elementary school in SD N Unggaran 1 Yogyakarta. Methods : This researchwas conducted as across-sectionalresearch at 78 students in SD Negeri Ungaran 1 Yogyakarta. We choosed students who met the inclusion criteria using a simple random sampling. We analyzed for bivariate analysis with fisher�s exact test. Result : Out of 78 students, there were 73% students have good energy intake, 27% have low energy intake and 59% have habitual to eat breakfast (� 4 times / week), 41% are not habitual to eat breakfast (<4 times / week). The result of analysis are there is no difference between academic performance some subjects based on energy intake (p>0,05) and there is no difference between academic performance some subjects based on frequency of breakfast (p>0,05).
