Summary:The Government Regulation No.20/2006 stated that the irrigation system with 1000 ha - 3000 ha command area and cross-boundary irrigation systems become the authority of the provincial government. The policy change resulted in the requirement of field officials under authority of the provincial government. Recently the Government of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta had inadequate human resources to conduct procedures of irrigation system operation such as discharge report. This research aimed to determine suitable technologyof discharge report. Alternatives given were previous form, Short Messages Service (SMS), Computer with manually data submission, Computer with internet data submission, and Automatic Water Level Recorder (AWLR). Criterias applyed to select the alternatives were human resources skill, ease of use, facilities support, costandtime efficiency. The methods employed to determine the choosen technology were Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM), specifically Weighted Product (WP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similary to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The results of this research showed the priorities of alternatives were SMS, form, computer and flashdisk, computer and internet, and AWLR.
