matters relating to the assets and perform management and maintenance of assets
owned by the campus. Of observations in the field indicate that many of the physical
infrastructure and facilities built by the University less sustainable and not well
maintained and not implementing asset management in maintenance.
Case study in the Directorate of Asset Management and Maintenance
(DPPA), Gadjah Mada University which survey data updating and condition of
buildings in the Vocational School UGM and building improvements Home Office
Block A-3 UGM. Implementation of the survey include data updating buildings,
area, condition of buildings and damage to buildings in each building in the
Vocational School UGM. This survey began on March 8, 2013 until March 15, 2013.
Many conditions of building assets UGM damage either minor damage,
moderate, or severe to do repairs and maintenance of buildings more intensively.
Maintenance and Inventory building with the concept of "Asset Management" is
essential to maintain the asset value and condition of the building according to
function and can be used until the end of life plans.
Maintenance activities building UGM Vocational School has not followed the
concept of Asset Management, particularly in terms of policy making and planning
system maintenance building thoroughly and there is no concept of infrastructure as
an asset in planning the activity of maintenance. |
