Description
Summary:Wound is the loss continuity of tissue structure. Wound healing is a multicellular organism reaction to tissue trauma, which re-epithelialization occurs as one of its parameters. Mangosteen peel contains nutrients that have role in enhancing wound healing process such as xanthone, vitamin C, and flavonoid. Gel, one of topically administered drugs, is easier to apply and has better absorbance than other topical drugs. The objective of this research is to study the effect of mangosteen peel extract gel on re-epithelialization of wound healing process in gingiva (Study in Rattus Norvegicus rats). Twenty seven Rattus Norvegicus rats were divided into 3 groups
