Description
Summary:DEM is digital information about the height of an area on the earth surface. DEM to be an aspect that was important in supporting geospatial activities such as topographic mapping, geometric correction of imagery, mapping of disaster areas and spatial planning. One method to get DEM information is using radar imagery with interferometry synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) processing. ALOS is a Japanese satellite that bring the radar sensor, the PALSAR, which uses L-band with a wavelength of 23 cm. Radar images have advantages compared to optical images, radar sensors which can work day and night and can penetrate clouds, which it can not be done by the optical sensor. This project aims to create a DEM using interferometry SAR method of ALOS PALSAR image. The data required is a pair of ALOS PALSAR image that will be used as the master image and the slave image. Stages in the processing of interferometry SAR is generate SLC image
