The measurement of traffic density is concidered to be relative expensive and not effective if it is done manually. In fact, it needs some people to measure the traffic flow. In addition, similarly, when calculating the average speed of the oncoming vehicles, it requires a large number of personel that makes it less practical. Therefore, a solution is needed to solve this problem. In this research, videography technique is proposed and expected to be an alternative solution. By using this technique, the traffic flow can be observed continually, practically processed, and quickly counted so that it can reduce the cost. In line with the problems mentioned above, a research using videography technique was conducted to measure the traffic density. The objective of this study is to know the scale of the traffic density in Jalan Diponegoro Ungaran for a week by using videography technique. This research was firstly begun by collecting the data.The data collection was started by getting up two cameras on fly over accross the observed road. There were two activities done
