This process is followed by Esterification at a temperature of 100 ° C and a pressure of 6 atm. After that the oil goes through Trans-esterification process at a temperature of 60 ° C and a pressure of 1 atm. The result of this process is then heated to purify Methyl Ester and followed by Hydrodeoxygenation at a temperature of 500oC and a pressure of 1 atm. This process aims to transform the Methyl Esters to Hydrocarbons that is similiar jet fuel specification (Jet A-1). The heat of Hydrodeoxygenation product is used to heat the boiler and then it goes to Fractination Column where the BioJet A-1 product is purified. BioJet A-1 plant will be built at Tulang Bawang, Lampung with land area of 21 hectares and employees of 81 people. The plant uses 281.228 kg/h microalgae as raw materials, methanol 6883.17 kg/h and hydrogen 2569.42 kg/h. The need for 971,746.3 kg/h water utilities is obtained from Tulang Bawang River, Lampung. The other needs of the plant are electricity demand of 1382.54 kW, fuel demand of 1173.39 kg/h and instrument air requirement of 180 m3/hr (STP). Based on economic analysis, BioJet A-1 plant needs a Fixed Capital of Rp 2,186,377,167,775.27 and a Working Capital of Rp 876,424,429,216.52. The plant will have profit before taxes of Rp 547,150,175,019.75 and after taxes of Rp 273,575,087,509.88. Rate of Investment (ROI) before taxes amounted to 25.03% and after tax of 12.51%. Pay Out Time (POT) before taxes of 2.86 years and after taxes of 4.44 years. Break Even Point (BEP) Value and Shut Down Point (SDP) Value are 51.10% and 23.75%, respectively. Meanwhile DCFRR of the plant is 14.21%. Based on the evaluation above, the BioJet A-1 plant from microalgae with a capacity 200,000 tons/year is feasible for further consideration.
