Summary:Nowadays, Trans Jogja bus operated in mixed traffic conditions with other vehicles. This situation gives impact to delay time and queue length that happens on signalized intersection, and to the performance of Bus Trans Jogja operational, in terms of bus travel time and travel delay that occurs during the operation of the bus. Therefore, it is necessary to repair that situation, such as implement the ATCS for Trans Jogja Bus Priority. This research aims to optimize the application of ATCS can be done for Trans Jogja Bus Priority in mixed traffic conditions. Modeling studies using software AIMSUN 6.1, with 3 scenarios of ATCS application and compared with the existing condition. In each scenario, the application of ATCS implemented on signalized intersection with considered its impact on the performance of signalized intersections and bus Trans Jogja operational. The results showed that the application of ATCS in the Trans Jogja Bus Priority repairs the performance of signalized intersections and bus Trans Jogja operational. It can reduce the number of critical points of congestion so delay time that happens can reduce too. Optimal conditions achieved in the application of ATCS in scenario 3 (the optimization of the ATCS application in previous studies (Ilahi, 2013)). With the application of ATCS at 3 scenarios gained decrease traffic delay 47%, the average queue length 54%, Trans Jogja bus journey time 37% and delay of the bus trip 67%. ATCS implementation can give optimal function if the placement of the ATCS application done more carefully and adaptable to the traffic conditions that occur on the road network.
