This research objectives are 1) to identify pattern of tidal inundation of sea water in the zone study, (2) Identification of each parameter distribution of tidal inundation vulnerability of sea water in the zone study (3) conduct vulnerability mapping and analysis of tidal inundation of sea water in the zone study and (4) determine alternative environmental management strategies to reduce disaster vulnerability in the zone study. This research uses descriptive empirical method with several analytical techniques, namely: buffer analysis, scoring analysis, and overlay analysis. Method of collecting data by sampling with a sampling technique purposive sampling. The population is Demak coastal zones that are vulnerable to tidal inundation disaster. There are several kinds of data collection techniques that used in this research, namely : interpretation of satellite imagery, map interpretation, analysis of secondary data, field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The parameters used for this research is a parameter physical vulnerability, social, economic, and environmental. The results show that spatial patterns of tidal inundation of sea water which threatens coastal Demak regency leads to the coastal zone directly adjacent to the shoreline, and the adjacent coastal zone of Semarang City which also occurs reclamation. There are 27 villages that included in the vulnerable category, namely: Bedono Village, Sriwulan Village, Purwosari Village, Timbulsloko Village, Surodadi Village, Sidogemah Village, Tugu Village, Sidorejo Village, Banjarsari Village, Gemulak Village (Subdistrict of Sayung), Wonoagung Village, Tambakbulusan Village (Subdistrict of Karangtengah), Gebang Village, Margolinduk Village, Village Tridonorejo, Purworejo Village, Betahwalang Village (Subdistrict of Bonang), Wedung Village, Bungo Village, mutih Kulon village, Village Kendalasem, Babalan Village, Berahan Wetan Village, Kedungkarang Village, and the Village Kedungmutih (Subdistrict of Wedung). It needs a alternative strategies to reduce the vulnerability of the environment, such as: (1) counseling and training to the general public on disaster vulnerability and existing environmental management, (2) to need updating and dissemination of data to the level of Subdistrict of and village disaster, (3) reviewing the the Law no. 24 of 2007 on disaster management for govermant, and (4) increasing public awareness of disaster and infected with various diseases due to amounts of waste.
