Java Province. The objective is to identify the historical designation and its
influencing factors of the conservation areas within Central Java Province from
1919.
Historical method was used in the research with collect data and evidence of
the protected area designation started the Dutch colonial era. Data and facts were
collected based on the literature studies coming from books, journals, articles and
interview from the suitable sources.
