Summary:With the development of industry in Indonesia which hled to heavy transport vehicle or heavy weight vehicles increases, the required presence of increasing and strengthening the road with rigid pavement wider. All tha tcan be realized with the development of technology for the concrete pavement, such as the addition of admixture to increase the strength of concrete and concrete-making costs are more economical. Admixtureis expected to be obtainedby the use of a higher quality concrete, accelaring setting time, control the increase in strength, improvement workability finishability, and concrete mixtures that are HRWR(High Range Water Reducer) it�s mean the reduction of the amount of water stirrer without lowering clamminess as well as economical. The research methodis the use of succulent concrete design method of ACI(American Concrete Institute), and if necessary methods SNI and British standard methods. Tools used, a blending machine for concrete, cylindrical mold and the mold blocks to make the test object, a set of casing tools, testing instruments, and compressive strength flexural strength, slumptest apparatus, bulk density test apparatus, as well as scales. The materials used arecement, coarse aggregate (gravel), fine aggregate (sand), water and admixture in accordance with the specifications and qualify SNI(Indonesian National Standard). From the test results obtained that the addition of admixture can increase both the strength of concrete compressive strength and flexural strength, improve the workability of succulent concrete and water reduction more efience.
