The Final Paper is entitled the role of Chinese language in the field of work. As for the background of this research were (1) To determine the benefits of having the ability of speaking Chinese language in the informant�s jobs. (2) The frequency of Chinesse language usage in the informant�s jobs, (3) The jobs prospects that could be achieved by the Chinese language school�s graduates. The Final paper objective was to examine to what extent the role of foreign languages, especially chinese language in the field of work. Through questionnaire analysis, the writer obtains result that having the ability of speaking Chinese language has many benefits in getting jobs and when has gotten jobs, besides to easy in getting jobs, it also can be used as a communication tool in the workplace. This indicates that the ability of speaking Chinese language is still needed in the field of work.
